Your local Library. You pay taxes to support it so you might as well use it.
I also use local bookstores selling pre-owned books for a reduced price. If you take books your own for them to sell then they further reduce the prices of any books you buy.
The last book I read was"Straight" by Dick Francis.

Like many, many other people, I just finished the seventh Harry Potter book. I also have some other favorite high fantasy series: Haydon's Symphony of Ages, Jordan's Wheel of Time, and Weiss and Hickman's Dragonlance. If you're not into that, there's always the Evanovich Stephanie Plum series or Gabaldon's Outlander series. If you're into non-fiction, I just read "Twinkie, Decontstructed" and "How to Pick a Peach." both were excellent.

Have you read the internet already? I am not even half way through it and thought I was doing good. There is much to learn on the internet, unless you are looking to read romance novels or fiction, I prefer getting something for my time I spend reading, it's all good on my end. Have a wonderful day!

Go to librarything.com. They have a program where you can type in the titles you like and they make recommendations. Amazon does this too.
I've read the last Harry Potter (highly recommended!)
Check out an online magazine that interests you; just google titles you have enjoyed in print!

I don't know if you like adventure stories but if you do, then "Inkheart" is a good book along with "Inkspell", its sequel; both by Cornelia Funke. "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" is also good, its by John Boyne
