Hey, Before you invest in any new business venture or

work-at-home opportunity, ask yourself this: Does the ad promise big

money for little effort? Fraudulent ads use

similar bait: Fast cash. Minimal work. No risk.

And the advantage of being your own boss or

working from home.

Start a small business. That's what I did. After months of searching I decided to buy an on line travel agency with a really great company. I love it! I get the best commissions in the industry, huge tax benefits, and nice travel credentials. The parent company provides excellent training, mentoring, and support. The company is publicly traded and a member of the BBB.

Just remember, do your homework. Check with the BBB, and government agencies that deal with fraud and scams. Look at the business and what you need to run it. Keep in mind the start up costs and overhead. Is it something that you believe in? If not, its not for you- no matter how much money you can make at it. Businesses are not one size fits most. There are a ton of possibilities and opportunities out there- so you should be able to find something that you love.

Good luck and I hope that you find what you are looking for soon.

The first thing you need to ask yourself is, what do I like to do? You want to make sure it's something you will enjoy doing.

What I did to make some extra money and work around my family's schedule was to start my own Pampered Chef business. You're in business for yourself, but not by yourself. This is a great company that most people have heard of and trust. You decide when you want to work, make your own schedule and make as much or as little money as you want.

If you want more information on it, email me and I'll give you my website to look at. Whatever you decide, good luck.

Richele,

I can only tell you my personal experience. I answered one of the many online surveys to request information on a home based business. Fortunately for me, I took my chance with a company that would allow me to work around my family's schedule and still get a decent income. I open accounts for them. I also get great discounts and benefits from them. This is a wellness company that researches, develops, and manufactures the world's leading wellness products. They even offer a 100% money back guarantee. I know because I tested them on it!

I also know that the business you go for has to make sense to you and believe in it. Remember that any business has an investment to consider. Check in the BBB by phone or online. In any case, I wish you the best. Take care!

Learn a skill or find one you have that people want and sell your skill. Some examples are roofer, plumber, gutter installer, landscaper, tug boat owner operator, charter boat operator, accountant, tax preparer, office building or home cleaner, flooring installer, appliance repair, painter, electrician. There are thousands of businesses where you can work as many hours as you want.

The best way, in my opinion, is to make money from your very own website. It takes time to build a good website that people find in the search engines or bookmark or type into their browser but it's possible. Then you add Google Adsense or sign up to affiliate programs, and watch the money roll in. You have to maintain your site, but it's still a very passive way to make money these days.
