I'm not sure there is much difference between men and women. Here are seven common warning signs someone is cheating on you:

Or your partner has been making critical comments about you so they think you are no good.
6. When a partner is sneaking around a bit, it's a sign. Maybe he or she takes secret cell phone calls on the porch instead of using the phone by the bed, or maybe he is out on weeknights whereas he used to be home watching television. If you see that a person is not around that much and is gone on different nights, something may be up.
7. Sometimes people with a background of these types of things may be more likely to repeat them. There are exceptions and people can change patterns in their life, but if we are talking about red flags, history is a red flag.

The cheater is usually way out in left field thinking alot. They are very conscious of their phones. They are happier but moody. They dress nicer or sexier. Women will buy new bras and panties. They will disappear for a few hours. They really want you to go out of town or will come up with some reason why they are. Guys have friends that will keep secrets so they can always use them as an excuse. Women have friends who can't (most of the time) so they will never use a friend as an excuse.

I think men will cheat more easily JUST for sex, and women are usually looking for affection when they are not getting any at home ...

But you can't paint anything too broad. Men crave emotional support and some women just get too horney and run out for sex alone ... mostly, it is a lack of love. If you don't love a partner enough to stifle your baser urges, there are issues bigger than sex at stake.

distance, i feel like when i've been cheated on, and i cheated that there was a pattern. the cheater usually becomes distant. or also body language. usually (in most cases) you can tell a person is cheating, if you ask them things and they cant maintain their behavior. their eyes tend to wonder and they cant keep eye contact in tact.
they get flustered and so on...
become protective of their cell phones. keep them on silent of are always switched off "dead battery" excuse....etc...
man there are heaps, but eye contact always gives it away
