churches don't get alot of funding so they ask for help.Or the good preacher needs a new cadillac

Well the church isn't jesus.....first and second...the ask for an offering..they aren't holding a gun to your head and making you do anyting....they ask for an offering because they are paying the bills and helping others that are in need....they are trying to save...

Everything we have is God's so I dont look at it as we are giving the church 10% I see it as we are keeping 90% of The Lord's ... and it really has nothing to do with "religion"....we can only be accountable for our actions....if the "church" doesnt do with the money as instructed we cannot be held accountable...

If the church is a building it cost money to maintain. Also you have to understand the financial ways in the past. So so different.

you don't have to go to a church to believe in God, it may have started out as a good thing, you know, a place where people could gather and worship together, but now it's based on money and gossip, hurting our kids.....people may get angry but it's not necessary. These days we aren't even safe in a church.

for offerings, operational costs and maintainence at least? to buy the wine and bread for communion. :) anyway, it isn't compulsory to give money to the church. whether to contribute or not. . . its up to the church-goers.

Welcome to religion, remember what they say is the worlds oldest profession. Well there actually had to be an older one to get enough money to pay. Religion came first for a reason.
