I'm not much of a reader sorry to say. I never got into it. I'm not really a big TV person either. I like Music.

READING! TV places everything out there so you don't have to think. Reading allows you to imagine what the scenes look like. Here's the test: read the Notebook then watch the movie, you'll see which is better!

I tend to watch more tv then I read but that is because I have kids running around the house and it is hard to find quiet time to read.

Read. The major difference is grammar, spelling, concepts, and logical deduction...you won't get this from TV.
