never.
i don't think there is ever a moment where you feel like "i got it".
if you have that moment, then you may be stuck in life and not moving forward.
to me, life is full of experiences and new things and places to go, see, LIVE!
i ahve grown accustomed to learning and accepting those growing pains with learning new things. it's ok and i just truck along...gathering information for "next time" and try to learn from those speed bumps.
but, i hope to never feel like "i got it" about life.
i may have "gotten it" about love, or parenting, or my job, but i always hope to have enough new experiences that i never have that general "i got it" about life.
as for growing up....i don't think we ever cease to do that, either.
i'm 27 and i feel, a mature 27, but i had some lessons taught to me the other day that made me feel awfully young....
and that was ok as long as i took it and put it in my pocket and never forget that lesson!

Do you really want to grow up? I suppose that the age when a person grows up, so to speak, is relative, depending on heredity, environment and the like. If growing up means that you lose child like inquisitiveness and tenderness, then I want no part of it. And as to when you actually get "it", greatly depends on what "it" is for you. I guess there is a time in your life when you know where you have been, where you are going, and how you are going to get there. That time comes, when you sit your self down and work it out. Many people as so busy getting there, that they really don't know where they are going.

There is no age . I am 67 years old/young and still feel like I did when I was in my early teens. The only trouble is the body can not keep up with the mind.

Until I left home at 21, went to Europe, and ran out of money. Then when after I found a job and a boyfriend... when I lost both job and boyfriend and was living on my friends couch for 6 months...who had also lost her job and her boyfriend..... THATS when I finally got it.
nice eye opener.

It's all about life experiences and if you choose to actually learn something from them. Unfortunately it's not about an age... Some people never get it.

not that sure really.........still feel the same as I did in my mid 20's and then I catch sight of my self in the mirror and go Holy cra*p where did that old person come from..............oh well hope to still be young at heart
EDIT thought about this some more and you know I suppose the main epiphany came to me when they placed my son in my arms and then 11 months later my daughter and at that point my "man" of the house walked out and I thought hmmmmm some one needs to be the adult here.........

Are you talking about males or females? Just joking. Every individual is different. Some wise ones get it at 4, and some never get it.

Oh, wow....It depends on the person. I have had acquaintances that were in their 50s that were still "growing up". Most of the time, they don't live long past that! (I know an example...sad.)

Somewhere around 30 I realised that there's nothing wrong with the world, just something wrong with how I see it.
