wants your forgiveness but has done something unforgivable? I am all for forgiveness. But I have some friends who are really mad and I don't know how to tell them forgiveness is the way to go.

Fogiving is a gift you give to yourself. It doesn't mean you are saying what they did was okay, you are just letting go of resentment and anger over it. Holding onto those bad feelings are like drinking poison and hoping the other person dies from it. They don't get hurt, you do. You can't convince other people of that though, they need to learn on their own. Just state your feelings about it and leave it go. Hopefully they will learn, if not, then it's their problem, not yours.

Only forgive when forgiveness is due...

After you forgive somebody so much, depending on the person, they start to think that they can walk all over you...

not unforgivable, but something I know will continue and I don't care to have that behavior in my life. Make sense? So i choose not to talk with her. she made it out like it was all me trying to control her. she's impulsive, whiny, and when she asks repeatedly, I might add, for my opinion and i give it to her only to find that she has done just the opposite time and again, why do I waste my time with her? I don't , I won't. Thank you for listening.

No, I don't at present, but I understand what you're going through. Sometimes, it takes a while to forgive someone; it takes a little time to heal your wound. I'm here for you if you want to talk.
