I bought 2 tickets for my 15 year old daughter to see My Chemical Romance when they tour in December. I am starting to think that maybe it wasnt such a good idea .. your thoughts?

Pray for the best and go for it, don't backpeddle now.
Unless you send me the tickets. JOKING...
Give her the caution talk ("do NOT eat or drink anything that might be spiked!") and a ride to and from. And money for a T-shirt and a CD.
You rock, pops.
(and don't worry, it could be worse, MY daughter wants to see 50cent, my eyes are rolling)

Does your daughter know you have the tickets already?

I was a 15 year old girl a loooong time ago. LOL
Here's what I think...

If you were my dad and got me all excited about seeing this show then told me you changed your mind and I wasn't going to see it, I'd think that was a rotten thing to do.

If my dad bought me tickets to see a show I really wanted to see, I'd think he was the coolest dad ever!

As a parent, if your daughter doesn't know you've got the tickets and you now have reservations, get rid of the tickets and buy her something else. Trust your gut!

Do you have some desire for your daughter to turn emo?
MCR's not like KISS and AC/DC and rock bands that talk about sex. They're pretty innocent, only that they're emo.

My dad wouldn't worry about the content I'm exposed to.He's just worried that I might start a fight with someone and all hell would break loose.

google them. If you don't like what you see - send the tickets back or sell them to someone with older kids.

it's up to you pops

She should be fine, but IMO it was a waste of money. Send her to see some good music...

You know your daughter better than we do. If she is trustworthy, stop worrying.

she can only have them if she eats her oatmeal. She's 15 ... she's probably fairly mature ... no worries X

Check this site. I doubt you want her to go.
