Actually the Capitol does have a jail. After the persident pardons them, he can be impeached and removed from office. The future of the Constitution and the Republic may make this necessary.

Bush is our decider and dictator while in office.all anyone can do is baa baa baa like the sheeple people we or. watch out what you say.they WILL do something to you if you do not shut up.

Nice idea, but the Capitol is not a jail, nor does it have such facilities in the basement. That area is filled with the skeletons cleaned out of the closets upstairs.
Even if they are jailed in "contempt", the persident can pardon them.

That would mean Hillary has to go to prison as well! Do you not remember her refusal to comply with the subpoena concerning the White Water records?
Oh, that's right, they were found later in the living quarters of the White House.
But the fact remains that she refused to comply, and she did not hold ANY political office, just First Lady.
