I am looking for a good LCD monitor. It has to have a DVI-D port and be at least a 19" Widescreen. Not much more than $150. I found one for $129.99. Just wondering if anyone knows anywhere cheaper. By the way it was www.tigerdirect.com .

If you purchase a cheap LCD monitor, you get what you pay for.

It may start going darker in about 1 to 2 years.

The image will not be very sharp or bright.

It is best to get at least a mid range LCD monitor.

Go to a retailer where they have numerous models and makes in use on display.

This way you can compare the sharpness and brightness.

Another thing you have to consider is the refresh rate.

Good Luck
