Wow! When is the Romeo Peach Festival coming this year? I haven't been there in many years; grew up about 20 miles South of there. From what I remember, it was a fairly large festival that seemed to be getting larger every year; Romeo is also in the Northern part of Macomb County and, the last time I was there was still somewhat agricultural- although suburbia may have reached there by now. Rides, demolition derbies, animals, crafts, food, ribbon competitions for animals, crops, baked goods, etc. are all things I vaguely remember about the festival and I may be confusing some of this with thie larger Armada Fair in nearby Armada, Michigan. Anyhow the following articles from previous years can explain the festival better than I can.
