I try to. It's a struggle for me. After I left home, I was seething with rage over everything that had happened over the years. It turned into some really destructive behavior. I had a baby girl, and I decided that I didn't want to be angry forever. That was when I realized that the only person who is punished by holding a grudge, is the person holding it. So, the ultimate revenge is to be happy!

Some people aren't mature enough for that. I'f I knew what the bygone was; I could deal with it. Adults acting worse than children; let them have the floor.

It really depends on what the disfavour was. If it was trivial, OK, but if it was pretty bad, well, as much as they say they are sorry there is no forgiveness. They don`t feel sorry for you, they feel sorry for themselves for being discovered and found out.
If anyone does me a really bad turn, there is no forgiveness no matter how much they say they are sorry because they are only sorry they were found out. And I`ll do them a bad turn if I get the chance. Would they forgive me? I doubt it, they`re not that sort of a person.
Serves them right for doing it in the first place.

Sometimes there is no alternative, but generally I try to but like a lot of people I fail. Then it gets stored away as resentment or brought back to life at a future argument.

Nope, I like to let my anger stew like a festering boil before exploding in a ball of puss-fuelled vengeance.

As much as is humanly possible,
Any body seen a Beluga whale around here, I'm fishing, and chasing him round?

I generally do... Not because I'm great-minded or forgiving, but that I don't want to waste my time on petty things.
Unless it's something like Hiroshima.
