I enjoy 80's glam bands, Queen, Bon Jovie, Dokken, Journey, Aerosmith, etc... So what other kinds of bands might I enjoy? That are like glam metal and rock?

Most people will likely tout the "New York Dolls" as they were the originators of "Glam Rock"; however, personally just found their music lame.

Bands I recommend would be: Styx, Kansas, REO Speedwagon, Whitesnake, Ian Hunter, Warrant, Van Halen, Sammy Hagar, Poison, Billy Squire, Greg Kihn Band, Early 80's David Bowie,Pat Benatar and Rick Springfield. Even earlier music my Genesis could still be considered in this genre, despite their later attempts at trying to be more in the "British Invasion" cult.

Me too mate Also check out Guns N Roses, Skid Row, Poison, Hollywood Rose (Axl Rose before Gunners), Def Leppard, Motley Crue, Warrant, Cinderella, Twisted Sister, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Dire Straits, Kiss and heaps more.

My favourite three songs are Guns N Roses "Patience", Skid Row "I Remember You" and Poison "Every Rose has its Thorn".

Newer bands to check out that are similar- Velvet Revolver, Brides Of Destruction, 58, The Darkness.
