What type of insect control products are effective for use in North Carolina to bug proof a house. Looking for outside stuff, sprays etc.

Try ORTHO HOME DEFENSE you can spray it inside and outside it comes in gallon size with a sprayer attachment for under $10 it's available at Lowe's, Target, hardware store... Good luck

You can try and use some spray foam and seal up any crack around the house, make sure there isn't any food or water laying around for the bugs to eat, always think, "water means bugs" This means shady area too, water hoses, sprinkler systems and even pop cans as well as a milk jug cap, caps can grow over 2000 mosquitos, so keep it sealed and dry around the place.
