There is a lot of FAUX (fake) people and things today. Why cant people just be themselves and be happy with themselves?!!!!

Quelques fois I do but then I realise I am looking in the wrong places. The TRUE beauty of le monde is seen not with a cynical eye but with an optimistic, hopeful and trusting heart, that before long will be filled with wonderment at the most amazing things and the most wonderful people to be found in the most unlikely places.

You mean, is it false? It's hard to know what's false without knowing what's real in the first place.
Is the "real" world purely spiritual? Or is it like "Matrix", a distorted reflection of the same thing? I think the physical world is a real one. But what's not real is our daily lives, preoccupied with petty things such as going to see the latest episode of "The Simpsons" or buying a new digital camera. That part of reality is definite faux.

Not at all, rather the reverse...this sometimes cruel and horrendous world is exactly what the bible told me to expect. Now if it suddenly became paradise, that might give me cause to wonder, but that won't happen and all the messed up things about this planet will continue to serve as evidence that my beliefs are correct.
