In many contexts it is redundant, but the term can also be used to describe a situation in which one person is forced to rape another. As terrible as it is, it does happen (unfortunately mostly to children being forced into sexual situations with other minors). If a boy or man is forced by another to rape someone, it is "forced" rape. It's still rape, but it's not done voluntarily and both the "rapist" and the individual being raped are victims.

Not always. A willing, consenting, unmarried 15, 16, 17 year old girl who engages in the act of sexual intercourse with an 18 year old boy is still considered rape in most states and there is NO USE OF FORCE. She is considered a MINOR even though she is a willing participant,

Well, not entirely. It also includes the threat of force, such as holding a weapon on the victim. But forced rape would be if the rapist actually used the force, rather than just threatening.

yea you're right. i personally think rape is one of the worst things you can do to someone. it frightens me. i think you take away a part of that person's life.
