My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex the other night. We didnt plan to, it just happened in the heat of the moment. When he came he pulled out a little late. This happened two nights ago... My next period is due on the 4th of August. Ten days before we leave for school. Now i'm really worried I could possibly be pregnant. We are both really smart, with intent to attend college in the fall. . . but i'm afraid that if i'm pregnant, it will ruin things for the both of us. My boyfriend is attending school on a football scholarship. Will he lose his scholarship? How soon will i be able to find out if i'm pregnant? and is there any way to find out early? First of all, you don't have to wait until he ejaculates to get pregnant, so if you are using the "withdrawl" method as a form of birth control, it doesn't work.
Without getting to technical, because urine is acidic it kills sperm. Therefore the mans body produces a fluid that travels through the penis when he is excited to nutrilize the urine. However, there is sperm contained in that fluid, so the possibility still exists that you may get pregnant even if he doesn't orgasm.
If you don't want to get pregnant, you really need to learn to just say no. Pregnancy is a consequence of sex and no method of birth control is 100% effective. So if you don't want to get pregnant, don't have sex. I'm not trying to be cold, those are just the facts.
If you are pregnant, it won't "ruin" things for you. It may change some of your plans but it is far from a life endind tragedy. Children are the most precious gift life can offer.
Many pregnancy tests are available that can detect a positive pregnancy in a matter of a 6 to 12 days after fertilization. Good luck to you.

I Know That It Does Happen And Your Emotions Get In The Way Of Being Cautious, But It Still Does Happen... Maybe You Should Get On The Pill Incase This Happens Again... Your Chance Of Being Pregnant Will Be Much, Much Lower...

Well, first of all you need to be more careful. It's you & your boyfriends fault that you guys are in this situation. You could of gotton the Morning After Pill. You could of used a condom. There's stuff coming out of the man's privates even when you are having sex and you can pregnant off of that. "Pulling Out" doesn't always work.
Just get a pregnancy test or go to the doctor & get a test done there. Calm down. And next time you better be careful.
Maybe this will be a lesson learned.

I don't think your bf will lose anything b/c he is not the one that would be carrying a baby. I am not judging you, but you say that you are both really smart, but not using protection and taking that chance before the 2 of you are just about to start school was very poor judgment. I understand heat of the moment, but right now your future should pop up in your mind just as your starting to feel that"heat". That feeling that only last for a very short time can change your entire future. I am hoping for both of you that you are fine. I would take a hpt in about 2-3 weeks. That would probably be the earliest you could find out.

You would be surprised how many college football players have girlfriends/wives and how many of those girlfriends/wives are pregnant. It won;t effect his scholarship at all.
You can have the blood test in about 11 days to see if your pregnant. I recommend going to the doctor to find out. But check out the other symptoms of pregnancy.
Sore or tender breasts
Extreme exhaustion.
Increased urination.
Nausea and vomiting.
If any of these are prevalent than you could be pregnant.
If you and your boyfriend are going to be sexually active, go to the doctor anyway and get on a method of birth control. But just remember birth control is just that control, the only true method of prevention is abstinence. And sweetie you and your BF should Abstain. especially if your going to be paranoid about getting pregnant.

I "m so sick of seeing these teens on the internet say I'm 14 or 15 and i pregnant , if yall stupid as know enough to lay down and open yo legs then you should know some of the possible outcomes that come along with that and if yall gon have sex go out and get you sum birth control first dam I'm 15 and even i know that , that why I haven't had sex yet.

you can find out 1 week before your period. And if its a neg result make sure your more careful next time. If you are pregnant no he cant lose his scholarship but his plans might go down the drain as so will yours

GO BUY THE MORNING AFTER PILL RIGHT RIGHT RIGHT NOW! It is 89% effective at preventing pregnancy is taken within 72 hours (3 days) of sex, because that's how long sperm can live inside you and possibly fertilize an egg and the pill will prevent ovulation if it has not already occurred.. TAKE IT NOW AND PREVENT THE PREGNANCY! Otherwise you won't be able to find out till your period is late.

just try to relax and calm down. i know thats hard to think about right now but i am going through something similar. (if you want i have questions up too) just dont think about it for now. if you worry about, your just going to make yourself sick. try taking the test around the 14th or something. if its negative then relax and just be more careful. if its positive then just take a deep breath and take it from there. dont worry about it until you really need to. I wish you luck and hope everything will work out in the end.
