You may not be able to take material things with you into the after life but I hope that you can take the wisdom, knowledge, and the lessons that you have learned while on this plane over with you into the next.

may not be able to take anything material but then when one leaves this plane of existence the soul and spirit move on to a higher plane to continue gain wisdom, knowledge and experiences.

You can take love into the afterlife. The only currency in the total universe is closeness to God. Heaven is that you are closer to God than you thought. Hell is that you not as close as you could be.
