Not that I know of. Why can't he take his own shoes off?

Would it make him feel loved and important if he came home from work, sat down in his favorite easy chair, you brought him an ice cold drink and a kiss, and then took off his shoes and rubbed his feet for five minutes? If I tried this with my husband, he would be happy up till the point I headed toward his feet, then he would tell me 'knock it off' because that's just not his thing. He'd prefer me to kiss and hug on him, along with the ice cold drink! LOL......if it makes your man happy, what's the harm in it? If he's demeaning and demanding you do it in a controlling way, trying to make you feel subservient, I'm with the answerer who said take your shoes off and throw it at him! LOL

No one is "Supposed"to do anything in a marriage except love their spouse and respect your spouse.
Does he take off your shoes for you when you come home? If so, then it may be nice to reciprocate.
Just remember a marriage is an EQUAL partnership. No one partner should be subservient to the other, There should be equal love and respect for each other. If either of you chooses to do something that will make the other feel better, then that is great! But it is not a requirement!

If your hubby is able to work all day, then no, you aren't supposed to take off his shoes. Now, if you want to, then more power to you, but there is no unwritten rule that says you must.
Quite frankly, the only time I would take off my husband's shoes are if his hands were broke......both of them!

Suppose to, no. Choose to, yes. Its all in the little things that partners do for each other. Ever hear the song by Alabama called 'It Works", it talks about what a husband and wife do for each other just because and how others don't understand because in their opnions its not "normal".
What little quirk or quirks do u like that ur husband does for you, what do u do for him, thats what its all about. Choosing to do not having to do.
Have fun in your marriage, and keep the lines of communication open at all costs.

You are supposed to do whatever works for your marriage; so don't ask strangers to make decisions that you and your husband should make. If you have a problem with your husband, talk to him--not strangers!

Have to? No but if you do it is a way to show him that you care enough to do so. It can create a moment of time where he can appreciate your attentiveness and tell you all about his day. But you don't have to.Showering together will create the same type of openness, as will a back rub or a snuggle time.

I'd take them off before he comes home. He may not appreciate you wearing his shoes.

ummmmmmm NO! Especially if he expects it. He is a grown man, let him take his own stinky shoes off! If you do it once in a while as a gesture of love that is one thing but no you are not SUPPOSED to.
