Do you wait for someone else to clap..before you clap..
or are you the first to start clapping..?
or do you wait till its near the end of clapping then clap a few times..?

If it is my kid performing I clap right away. Anywhere else I wait for others to get going. Only place I wait until end is at graduation because it is requested and polite!

i clap whenever it happens! sometimes i'm first - but only if its something thats amazed me or made me tingle inside, and most of the time i wait to hear a few other claps so i know im not starting early. dont know why it works like that. just does. but hey, we all do it sometimes.

When watching a kids-play I start clapping whenever I feel like
doing it and the reaction usually is that others follow right after
my first claps.

I'm usually the over jealous one who claps like mad - especially if it is someone from the family or a friend - I've also been known to cheer too on occasions!
