What can you do if a dr. performs surgery and then lies about his findings? He tells you on several occasions that you have a strange growth that can not be explained. He does tell you it isn't cancer so not to worry. I later decide to get a second opinion and with that realize there was never a growth. But something that can easily be explained. What do you do?

Ask for copies of your x-rays, ultrasounds, MRI, or whatever other images they did prior to the surgery. You can get a third opinion based on those. I assume if they "went in", they did testing and had a valid reason to go in.

If you are really suspicious or the doctors seems incompetent, you can always check with the medical board to see if there have been other claims file against him or her.

You don't go back to the first doctor. Simple as that. There's not much else you could do, he might not have even been lying he might just have been an idiot. Higher Education doesn't guarentee intelligence.

On a side note, *everything* can be explained. From now on, let that "It can't be explained" phrase be the key to set off your BS Alarm.

That's an excuse to get your money. Doctors do that. You go in for a checkup and come out with all kinds of things wrong with you.
