You mean, accusing them of giving HIV to children so as to hide the fact that those kids were infected because of the abysmal state of the Libyan health system, and torturing the Bulgarians to get a confession ?
Condemning them to death despite proof they were innocent and then use muslim law to change this condemnation into a payment to spare their lives (1 million dollars per child, paid to the state, not the families) ?
Freeing them in exchange of commercial agreements?

The only right thing was freeing them.
