Matter of opinion. I Think most would agree that the 1951;
Rocket 88 by Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats (Ike Turner) was the first R&R as we know it,although people like Fats Domino had been recording way before then

I don't know about the song but most people say rock started with Elvis. I like 80s heavy metal and that started with bands like Black Sabbath and Deep Purple.
