Those who live with a female...do you put the seat down?
Just a question...Just went to the bathroom...and almost fell in cuz my brother didnt put the seat down...twice today...its funny...i know...but it still makes me mad.
so...do you?

Yes. I put both the seat and the lid down to ensure that I'm not the only one who has to lift up something on the stupid toilet.

You should always put both the lid and the seat down. Every time you flush the toilet a cloud of tiny droplets go into the air and then land all over your bathroom. This means that if you flush with the lid open you are spraying urine, feaces and everything all over your towels, toothbrushes, flannels, etc. Fairly horrid, eh? So, put both down and then we all have to pick something up.

I put the seat down and close the lid . and if while the seats up find that a few drops landed on the rim . take a moment to wipe it clean so the bathroom doesn't start to look messy

Better question is, why don't women check if the seat is down before the sit? But yes, I do put the seat and lid down.

You should learn to look, but typically it is just nice manners to put the seat down. I personally always do.

I grew up in a house with 3 sisters, if I have to pick the seat up they can put it down.

NEVER!!!!!! I solved that argument a long time ago, I said if it has to be down for you, I'll just leave it down (she was kind of grossed out by that), and then I explained that everytime I go in she expects me to check to see if it is down or up, I expect her to do the same.

im multi talented, i can do it with the seat up or down,(peeing that is) without any spillage .....
and
is it soo hard to check b4 u sit down,, u dont walk though a door expecting it to open up when u arrive. unless its those electric doors.
