Its sad that America is so uneducated that you would have to explain that WPM is words per minute.
ANYWAY...
I can type 65-80 depending on the keyboard. Some are stiffer than others. I know there are great benefits to the split keyboards but I just can't seem to get the hang of it... I can only type about 50-70 on those.

I'm tested at 90 wpm. When you think about it, that's a word and a half per second, which is pretty quick. The first guy who answered said he has a friend who types 120 - WOW. She must have lightening hands! :-)

Here lately I've been typing at around 102 wpm, but it used to only be around 80. I guess I have no life anymore.

OK,...........you get the whole story......
When I was in high school I took typing, no computers then.
I failed the first quarter of typing because there were no letters on the keys, we were supposed to memorize them.
So when the teacher put me on a typewriter that had letters, I did a lot better.
But I still only got about 40 wpm.
I think I am a lot faster now , practice makes perfect.

I can type average of 45 wpm, with no errors...my best typing performance was 66 wpm with one error on a typing test. :)

I can type 72 words per minute with 3 errors.
