i remember though that my sibika at kultura books in elementary and my history books in high school have some filipino articles regarding that...

in any case, you can just help your brother translate everything from english to filipino...

also, you might want to check on your local library. UP diliman's main library has an extensive collection of books. it has a filipiniana section and the gen ref section.
