Assasin's Creed looks pretty sweet, Halo 3 looks like another generic FPS.

Don't rely on other peoples opinion. Start to make your own decisions. Especially in matters on what game you want.
That being said: Try to get Assassins Creed first. Halo 3 will become a classic and you will be able to buy it for a long time...

get call of duty 4 when it comes out halo 3 is also good but it is basically the same thing same graphics..etc well new guns and whatnot. but its just u got alot of fan boys out there saying to get it
