I have been taking the pill correctly for the past 4 months, and I just had my 7 day break. on the day after the break, I took the pill, about 15-20 minutes before having sex. I'm now absolutely petrified that I might be pregnant, and am considering getting the morning after pill. Is there a chance I might be? Any help would be really, really, really appreciated, as I'm really scared!!

No you cant because you are protected all the time if you take your pills correctly as long as you took it on the correct day you will be fine. You are protected during the 7 day break aswell. If you are really that worried go see your GP im sure they will put your mind at rest.

Try not to worry. You should still be protected. The pill prevents the egg from being fertile. The 7 day break is when the lining finally has a chance to shed,. You shouldn't be able to conceive, as you have not " dropped the egg" yet. The morning after pill is OK, but I would call and ask the nurse or Doctor if you should be worried. They should be able to help you feel better about this. Your health care provider should be available to you, if not, find another doctor. Call today before the weekend.
Good luck !

You are still covered with the 99% effectiveness and taking it on time.

I don't mean to scare you, but...

some people are saying you won't get pregnant. Since it is only 99% effective when taking it correctly there is ALWAYS the chance you would get pregnant (1%). NO contraceptive pill/shot/patch/etc is 100% effective. There is a 99% chance that you are NOT pregnant, but there is that 1% chance you ARE pregnant.

As long as you had a 7 day break and took the pill again after this break and have continued to take it since you will be protected

there's no need to be scared. if you have been taking the pill correctly, and were on the 7 day week then you can't get pregnant. In other words as long as your on schedule with your pill your ok because you are not ovulating.

If you are going to a week long camp, then I suggest that you talk to you doctor immediately and go to the store to receive a new pack so that you do not run out while you are away.. The simple answer to this one I believe would be to plan ahead...You know you are going to run out then you need to take the right steps and then follow your doctors orders.

You are protected throughout your cycle if you are on the pill - this includes the 7 days you don't actually take it. So stop worrying!

No way dont worry! They'll be no egg for the sperm to fertile anyway lol, you'd be a scientific MIRACLE if you were. So just forget about it!
