As much as things cost today one person can't afford to live alone, it's very difficult for two people to get by, college students live 6 and 8 to an apartment in some cases. Before long people will be living in communes just to scrape by! I lived with my wife for 23 years before we got married, it's now been 26 years we have been together. We have little to show for 26 years too.

I guess u r asking asking abt the attached couples who r not married ... "living under one roof".
If that's ur ques-tn....the answer is..due to (External Influences)
Meaning to say.. nowadays Indians following the footsteps of the abroad culture.
It gets kinda cool or they find it fun or the vast exposures has brought abt this change.

Live in relation gets two strangers to friendship. Friends have time to understand each other and adjust with each other. Several live in s got married are happy. Some did not marry and also are happy.
