does anyone know when it is and where its at? im talking about like the actual party premiere not the day it comes out on tv.

To find movie premieres, just go to http://www.seeing-stars.com/Calendar (then scroll down to the premieres section).
I just checked that site, and the High School Musical 2 premiere will be held at the AMC theatre in Downtown Disney, outside of Disneyland (Anaheim), on Tuesday, August 14, 2007, with red carpet arrivals starting around 5:00 p.m.

I'm not SO sure when it is going to come out, but probably after the premiere...or maybe on the day of the premiere? These parties take place usually in private places...
