Hehe . . .NEWSFLASH -- Vick's Career is Over .
Hold on to him ? Heck , he'll never play again . I don't know if you heard all the evidence , but he's done . And now they're saying that they will add more charges in the up-coming weeks .
Like I said . . .He's done !!
Oh and btw , he has the WORST completion ratio out of all active quarterbacks .

Vick is an awesome QB??? Wow. He's awful. He is inaccurate, a lousy leader and example, his arm strength is greatly exaggerated, he doesn't read defenses (beyond the very basic ones) well, and struggles against teams with fast run-stopping linebackers and safeties because his only threat is to take off running. The guy's a joke personally and would only be good if he moved to RB or maybe WR.
Look at his 2006 stats...
204/388, 2474 yds, 20 TD, 13 INT
Outstanding! That's a 52% completion rate and a Pro-Bowl QB rating of 75!
Not!
Obviously the Falcons are going to pay dearly for letting Matt Shaub go.

I like vicks ability on the field, He was probly one of the most talented QBs in the league. Most people familiar with the off field antics of michael vick now that it was just a matter of time before he was shot or got into big trouble. As far winning a superbowl, you could give him all the weapons needed and he wouldnt use them anyway because he is to self centered, he would rather run the ball and take all the glory. Falcons fans better get to like joey Harrington because he is there to stay, Vicks career is over

*Prior* to dogfightgate, he was a player with a lot of supposed potential (nothing wrong with scrambling in itself, but with all the times he was sacked and his low completion percentage in general and woefully few passes thrown to the wides) that had yet to be fully tapped who also was popular in a city and who helped sell tickets.
But I do think his days in Atlanta are severely numbered now. My guess (and it seems to be at least some sports columnists as well) is they are basically waiting on the commisioner for permission to cut him loose.
People are jumping Goodell taking too long on Vick, but remember, they said the same thing about Pacman & Henry, but when he was ready he came down firm.
I believe the second Goodell thinks he has enough info that can withstand a legal challenge from the union he will get a minimum 1 year suspension, which he would have to apply for reinstatement before coming back, simply for the association he has with it even if it isn't enough to convict him. And if he goes to the clink?.... Likely an extensive (if not life) ban once he's out... And any career that he ends up having won't be with Atlanta. Once Goodell delivers his word he will be cut.

Vick is the face of the franchise. Atlanta has no real QBs (Harrington?) so they would be smart to see if he is actually convicted before they drop him. Vick could be a Super Bowl QB if the Falcons were a better team.

Falcons have invested so much into building an entire team around him that they're having a hard time letting him go.
Before the whole dog fighting thing I would have given him one more year to shine before the Falcons gave him the axe. Now with everything that's happened unless the whole trial goes well for him he's pretty much done.
