Do you need Guild wars factions to use razahs skills? is ti possible I can unlock them off the pvp faction trainer and able t use them or do you need factions to use them?

You won't be able to use any of the Factions only skills, but there are some Ritualist skills available in Nightfall that you can use.
If you want access to all of the skills in the game, you'll have to buy all 3 games.

Guild Wars is being developed by ArenaNet, a subsidiary of NCsoft. Rather than have a continuous beta ArenaNet hold Beta weekends, where pre-ordered players and invited friends are allowed to test the game. This weekend was one such event and I was lucky enough to be invited along.

No i dont think u need Factions, but it will definitely be better to get Factions
