Why do guys erect every morning? Is it normal for a guy to erect several times a day? What is the guy thinking during erection and what causes it? I am just curious..

Many men believe that they have erections due to the need to urinate. However, there is a more logical explanation:
When you are asleep, your body is in a state of sleep paralysis. Your brain does this so that you don't move your limbs around as you dream. When you wake up, blood flow increases as a countermeasure to sleep paralysis, and you stretch. Stretching squeezes acids out of your muscles and raises your blood pressure much more sharply.
As we know, erections are from increased blood flow. When you stretch with your whole body, your penis also receives a huge burst of blood and subsequently gets rock-hard.

The cause of morning erections is usually from pressure from a full bladder, during sleep. Of course having erotic dreams will also have the same effect.
There are several reasons for getting an erection during the day. Sometimes I get random erections for no apparent reason. More commonly though either I see an attractive girl maybe wearing short or a short skirt and "presto" an erection.
Yesterday, a girl I know who just got her nose pierced, asked me if I would ever get my belly button or penis pierced "a prince albert". I couldn't help it I got an erection right in front of her, though I tried to avoid being detected.
An erection results in blood flow into the penis. The tissue is spongy and cavernous and as you know gets hard from being filled.

The morning erection is less from being excited than it is a reminder for a man to urinate as he hasn't during the night. It is very normal for a man to get erect several times a day. Usually comes from thinking about sex or being reminded of something sensual that is arousing. They are due to blood flow into the penis but the vessels closing up near the base to trap extra blood in the penis that makes it hard.

first off, guys get erect about every 45 minutes while sleeping and the morning erection is merely the last in that sequence.
during the day guys can get erect for any number of reasons and if we are talking teen guys oft times they will get erect for no reason at all (spontaneous erections).
as for what's on a guy's mind - well anything
from sex to seeing a hot body
or from having to shower iwith the guys to kissing his special friend
or from worry he will get erect in class to nothing at all.
Yes it varies widely and on many occasions a guy will pop one while his mnind is on nothing more than a math problem or eating ice cream.

Erection is caused due to that blood is been pumped in the penis, as simple as that..... the cause of that pumping could be excitement (sexual) or pressure on the penis (sleeping on it or holding it tight).
So, in the morning it can happen that the man slept on his stomach where for there is pressure on his penis and than it "can" erect.... holding up pie, it can happen of nice thought as well (dreams).
During the day it happens as well.... in my case: I think of nice moments with my lady or sometimes just out of the blue sky it happens.... when I feel totally relax, no stress and stretched (can happen in a meeting, party, for the TV, etc...) in those cases I pray I don't have a tight jeans on or so :- )

yes it is normal, unless he is a priest and surrounded by young boys... laying down for sleep relaxes the body and in short makes for easier blood flow to the penis, so a guy could be dreaming about a math test & still wake up with an erection.. early in life boys cannot control thier erctions yet and due to the newness of this event to thier body, hormones, & mind it is very common to get an erection many many many many times a day

The male body produces a lot more testosterone when he's asleep at night , therefore when he awakens he has a hard on , what causes this is the blood flow in the penis and the veins are dilated , allowing more blood to flow into the penis , health and
testosterone levels , nitrous oxides also plays an important role
in allowing more blood flow to the penis , some males body's
may produce more testosterone than other's .

yes a guy has an erection four times a night. I don't know what's the reason but it's normal!

erections are a normal part of life. they are caused by blood flowing into the spongy tissue in the penis. You women are the cause of it all because you look so good.
