sure he had an amazing nba finals performances, participate for team usa, and won a finals mvp title, which anyone can win only if you average the highest score of your team, but other then all this what he has accomplish, all he do is appearing in some main event, and act like hey people look at me i'm the best, and also by shoothin some commercials, is that why all of you respect him alot, the guy is just a show off, who trow a ball in the rim without even looking at it, all that for what reason, no matter how he does plp would still lik him so why he showing off all these moves, when the right time come to win a game he can't do it, but he like to show the world he is the best

I'll give a simple answer to a simple argument. He is not a Basketball God. Nobody does. Take it this way, the Class of 2003 produced big named stars. Of all those names Dwayne Wade was the first to win a championship, a trophy that every player in the whole NBA roster dream of having and have that trophy at such a small amount of time, and literally pulling the Miami Heat together, that is what makes him admirable. He is no God but a human that has been immortalized by his finals heroics.

well i dont even d-wade thinks he is even a basketball god unlike some players(cough Kobe and Lebron) D-wade has proven to be a great player. He hurts his shoulder and still plays cuz he still wants to help out his team when he first came into the NBA with Lebron and Melo he was selected by the worst team in the NBA (the Heat) and led them to the playoffs. To tell the truth he is probably the most uncocky guy in the NBA everytime i see lebron dunk and gets fouled He always has to look into a camera D-wade isnt afraid he constantly drives to the hoop no matter what and no one can stop him. He's not a god and he probably doesnt consider himself one he's not even in the top 50 greatest players ever in the NBA (unlike Shaq) but he will be. Also unlike every other basketball player sponsoring Nike and Adidas d-wade wants to be different and go with Converse(not even that big like nike and adidas)

asker is a d-wade hater, i suppose. what wade has done in his young NBA career is something others can only dream about or hope for. most black athletes have swagger, although some have the penchant for showing it. that swagger can be called confidence as well. wade was the hands down choice for MVP of the 2006 finals...not even kobe, despite being the better player...or some say, Lebron don't have it yet. d-wade knows how to win games as shown in the 2006 finals . for you to say he can't do it makes me think that you missed the 2006 season. his being in a commercial shows his marketability. is that considered being a show-off? kobe and michael jordan shoots the ball without even looking as well...show-off as well? ball players are entertainers as well. i could actually say that d-wade and lebron are the torch-bearers now of the NBA.

Well, you come off like you do not like D Wade at all; but to be fair, Dwade is a very very good NBA player...He's not charismatic like Kobe, doesn't shoot like Ray Allen, or dunk like Vince Carter, but the guy can play the game...I mean, haven't you watched how great he has played over the past several seasons, especially in the playoffs, i mean this guy is a clutch player...and he does it in important games at crucial moments.
He has incredible offensive talent, averages 28 pts a game, an explosive scorer with great coordination, and an outstanding athlete...has a great first step, a terrific slasher who relentlessly attacks the basket...he's nearly unstoppable when he decides to go to the basket, has excellent crossover and spin move and an overall great competitor...
Do you think he just does those commercials...of course not you id*ot, companies like Converse and Tmobile try to market this guy, so that's why he's always on TV...so is LeBron...it's not Wade's fault that companies come to him and try to make him the face of their companies...why hate on somebody just because they're being overly exposed...not his fault for trying to earn as much $$$ as he can..
Dude, i mean you can hate on a guy, but just don't make it sound like he's no good or he sucks...cuz' Dwyane Wade DOES NOT suck...LeBron James does not suck..Kobe Bryant does not suck, AI does not suck, Tim Duncan does not suck..........sucky players are someone like Michael Olowokandi, Jack Haley, Chris Dudley...you know the obvious bad players....
So, what you say about Dwade just shows that deep dow you're just a person that does not know his/her basketball; no basketball knowledge, no appreciation for talent

i don't think people consider wade to be a "god". He's an all-around player, and i think that is why so many people consider him a great player/person. Wade is respected by so many basketball fans for his character, performance as a team player, and his ability to lead the Heat to the playoffs and win the championship when they were a losing team.

He's accomplished more by the age of 25 than Jordan did. Why did people think of Jordan as a basketball god, even before he ever won anything?
