i am doing 'rocky horror picture show' at school, and i've been told i am a phantom. apparently i have to go around talking to the audience about the show, do i do anything else, like can i get up and join in dancing or is that all i do?

I would make sure to know the show and all it's 'special moments' backwards and forwards! Ask if you can throw little pieces of toast and rice (you'll have to clean it up of course) and especially know the lines and maybe you can bug some people and let them in on the line just in time to say it with you. Make sure to help instruct people on how to do the Time Warp, etc. I would imagine that's what they want you to do, but of course you should ask to make sure. Of course you should dress funky too...

Have fun with it! The more outrageous the better!

Rocky Horror Picture Show is a performance that involves the audience. You will be expected to interact with audience members in the seating section. Ask the casting director or executive director for more information or speak to other cast members that are veterans of the show.
