It took me three hours to pain the bathroom alone, but only one hour when my boyfriend helped me. Why is it that when the two of us work together it takes so much less time. Why did we finish in less time than I expect it would have taken? I would expect it would take 1.5 hours.
I also notice when I have just one person helping me I get things done way quicker than doing it alone. But if I have too many people helping me, it would be better doing it myseld.

It's true! I think the company distracts you from how undesirable the work is, and you also work with fewer pauses because you know that the other person is there expecting to work. I think it even helps to just have someone there, even if they aren't working with you.
