graphics is the problem...Yahoo makes my computer go stupid...Error in GDI.EXE which is graphics...they tell me!
What do you think?

It could be what resolution you are trying to view them in. If you try and increase the size, it gets weird looking. Set your computer to at least 800X600 but optimally at 1024X768 and that might improve things a bit. Plus, you might need to update your graphic cards driver. naah... i'm sure yahoo wrote a specific program into all of their online services for the sole purpose of making avatars fuzzy on your computer. lol!
i would suspect the graphics (i don't know what else could cause that to happen).

Pl. also check the resolution (1024 x 780 etc.) and you may find that you are using a lower resolution than the others.
