This is probably the best question I've seen on here so far. Not because I expect an answer from others, but because it encourages people to ask a question that can enrich their lives.
I think I'll make a list of my own thoughts and beliefs that need to be changed, along with thoughts on how best to change them.
Thanks!

It may not be popular nor sane but I believe: There is nothing wrong with believing something that may not be true. I just find it convenient and comforting to believe that all human beings are inherently good, God at least pretends to love and care for us, true love exists forever plus the ever ubiquitous justice triumphs always. Because of these beliefs, I go out of my way and sometimes at greater expense than I expect to demonstrate the golden rule: do onto others as you would hope that others would do onto you. It is not fun, profitable (if you do it right), nor even popular, but at least you can hold onto to the truth about yourself: you love the universe more than the universe loves you back ... somewhere that's an edge- LOL. When in doubt just pay it forward.

My beliefs are centered around what is best for society, the earth, and the universe ... not what is best for me. I operate on a belief of balance, and achieving that balance whether or not it is always in my personal "best interests". And nothing needs to change them, because I don't want to change them.

By the grace of my Master, I am free of all such beliefs. And if some past beliefs come up occasionally, I deal with them as just that, residual memories of past.

I believe that it is unfair for me to have to be born into a society that I am forced to conform to by following every one of it's ten thousand laws created to limit my imagination and activity.
Nothing I can do about it.

When all your beliefs are unpopular, they are beneficial to only your pride. I'd say my take on religion and purpose are particularly unpopular. My analysis on why these are frowned upon is also... frowned upon..
It's easier to not say anything until asked.
