we have a little mercy. after torture and brutal imprisionment we don't always kill them. i'm sure they'd treat us a lot worse if they captured us. i don't think they'd care much about western style gov't no matter what we did. we need to appoint a dictator let the new saddam kick a** and bring the troops home. i'm sure the new guy will understand what saddam never got. Saudis control opec pricing and supply and exxon gets that oil

precisley. if one side does not treat the other side well it could make things worse. or resort could be made to courts. but without following the Geneva conventions for example things will be as if they never were written enentually. as to torture in Vietnam the same could be said for Vietnamese prisoners if there is evidence to support this. a person could ask why the people attacked are accused by their attackers of being at fault when the attackers themselves have discussed if torture can be used or opposition has been mounted against the idea. seems little regard for citizens caught in the war is given .everyone is considered bad. it is not that simple. the soldiers fighting have been accused of raping their own female perssonel in some articles from the news . this took place in Iraq.also U.S. soldiers have been accused of raping a fourteen yearold girl in a news article. cannot confirm this but the soldiers said to be involved were a reconnaisence unit called Kilo Company.now with Abu Ghraib what does this say.

Their allies will never have compassion for a democratic process. That being said, we still need to remember that we are supposed to be the good guys. At least we used to be......

We can't and they won't. Once you turn your back on the democratic process and embrace one filled with totalitarian isolationism and imperialistic egresses--the world will show little compassion and sympathy for you in the long run.
Japan did something similar with China and Manchuria in the 30s and look how THAT turned out.

I suggest you look again at the facts and, then come back and state that sentence again.
While in Viet Nam for two tours one of the worst fears was getting captured and what would happen.
It's getting that way in Iraq now, they won't even acknowledge they have any U.S. of foreign National prisoners.

Ever wonder why our creator created the Geneva Convention for the good of mankind back in the past?
Kick the butts of living human kind.
With time get ourselves kick on the butts too.
To create the peace on earth goodwill to men.
We have to stick to the Geneva Convention at war or public security for the good of mankind.
Not in creating a mess.
With the creation of loss of peace on earth goodwill to men on planet earth.
"Do unto others as we like others do unto us"
Here's a guiding star " Papa don't preach"
