CPU's and Hard drives

Here is what I think will happen based on current trends:

modular high capacity flash memory or Massive capacity RAM will replace most hard disks even in very large databases and make data retrieval many times faster than it is now. Hard disks will only be used for archival and backup.

High capacity flash will also replace DVD's HD-DVD, Blue Ray, etc.... for computers, music and movies. Optical disks will go the way of the floppy and everything will be in flash sticks like nintendo DS games or camera memory.

Broadband speed will probably increase by a factor of 10

Videoprocessors will become multi-core making for ultra-realistic 3d environments and physics completely indistinguishable from actual film.

The price of LED will drop drastically increasing the number and size of monitors in the home and office. Everyone will have multiple massive monitors everywhere. People will laugh at how small our work and home PC screens are now.
