What if this privacy would just happen to be my son? Would that effect anything? Please no more questions about what it is about, just let me know if I can get a hold of one.

There are no keyloggers that goes to someone else's computer and finds out what they are doing. You must download a keylogger that sends log details of user activity as an email to ur mail id. To do that you must install keylogger in some1 else's pc and configure it to send email to ur id thats it man. But antivirus detects it and disables. So choose a better keylogger for ur use.

Actually... even if it's to keep tabs on your son, it might *still* be illegal - depends on your state/local laws.

I wouldn't recommend just snagging one off the internet - some of those have backdoors on them as well, sending your account info to someone else as well. Not particularly safe.

My recommendation is, if you're deadset on using a keylogger, check with your local PD. If they don't have the info/expertise, they can probably put you in touch with your State Police - most SPs have units specifically to deal with kids & internet safety. They can tell you any special requirements/restrictions for your state, *and* might even be able to recommend software.

You can easily install a keylogger. However, you need one that does more than just log keystrokes. It should also capture images of all websites opened and record all the internet history. You can get something like Win-Spy that very easy to use.
Here is a link to how to choose a keylogger.
Hope this helps!
