Most series tend to make movies as there going downhill or as there about to end..im pretty sure thats what there doing now

Peak? What peak? simpsons is the best tv series out there. still going strong after all these years. the creators of the simpsons are peculiar guys...so of course they waited so long to do a movie. and p.s the simpsons are always at the peak of popularity!

Well usually movies come at the end, so they probably wanted to continue it so it will get more and more popular then they make the movie. Unfortunately, the popularity went down after the writers changed. It stopped being as funny as before.

animated movie like that is a lot of work
this aint no cgi team work, that is hand crafted (to the best of my knowledge)
