I'm constantly afraid of being sick, or getting some crazy fatal illness, and thats all I can think about. Even when I get a little pain or headache I always think of the worst!! And everyone says its all in my head, and theres nothing wrong with me!!! Are they right!!!

you have to rewire ur brain so that you can change the way you think. If you brain says"you are cold" then you get cold, if it says you are weak and cannot fight diseases, then u get sick and frail..to make your mind think i nthe positive way you'll have to train it. everything u start thinking negetive stuffs, reverse it and make it straight. Say, somebody pushed into the swimming and u started to panic or get angry, stop it cus, Be Glad that you are not hurt seriuosly taht you'd have to go to the hospital, be glad that it's not someone u care about who got pushed ..get it now?? When u go out and somebody sneezes in front of u all of a sudden, of course u would be angry and by what u say, you'd freak out of catching that person's cold or flu or whatever he may have..but then instead reverse your thinking: he is the one suffereing at the moment not u, for the time being you are okay, instead of giving him a sour look, bless him and make sure your voice doesn't sound angry, be it forgiving. Forgive him for being at the wrong place at the wrong time infront of the wrong person...okay..?? Eat good food, don't take too much junkies and make sure u sleep well, rest well and exercise regulargy for at least 10-20 min. All these can help strengthen your body and your mind. It could mean you are the social definition of a hypochondriac, in which you have an over sensitive attachment to your body and are so worried at any sign of pain or weakness that you automatically assume the worst is upon you. It is normal to think of the worst when you feel pain, that's not an abnormal trait. When I get a headache I assume it's a headache, and not a frontal sign of a brain tumor. So while I assume it's a headache, the thought that it might be worse is on my mind...again, that is normal. Being sick, however, is almost entirely mental. I suggest you look up or read up on sources of common sicknesses, and then avoid there main "spawning points". Besides being safe you will KNOW you are safe, so the feeling shoould leave you.

There is nothing wrong with you. You probably just suffer from hypochondria, this is something a lot of people have. You think your sick when your not or if you do get sick you think you will die, that is hypochondria, it is just in your head. There is nothing wrong with you phisically or mentally, you are not crazy, you just worry about your health and there is nothing wromg with that. But you have to try to control it or it will take over your life. Next time you get sick or start thinking you are sick just think, am I really sick, do a self exam, like go over in your head, does my stomache really hurt or do I just think it hurts. Keep it under control and you will be fine... Also find someone you can tell this to and help you with it, someone who will not make fun of you.

It is apparent to me that you have some kind of anxiety disorder. Everyone who says that it is all in your head is absolutely correct. Unfortunately, this does absolutely nothing to stop these harmful thoughts, if anything, it only makes your predicament more confusing and frustrating. The best thing to do is to get a diagnosis and to seek treatment. There are many treatments out there that DO NOT require any sort of medication. Remember, you are not alone. There are many people who are suffering from various types of anxieties (including me: social anxiety), and you must get help right away because the longer you wait to get help, the worse you will get.

I think you can be alright if you think rationally and not going wayward. If you think without any reasons then obviously you will come through headache and so on. Try to avoid harsh thinking and take things in a simple way which can help you solve your problems. I feel that your friends/relatives are not wrong to give their correct views.

Take help like every body else.Unfortunately,we all know but for variety of reasons,refuse or keep delaying in taking the appropriate help which can save us from so much sufferings and anxiety.Condition like this can happen to anybody and is minor 0ne in your case.Don't delay anymore and be done with it as soon as possible.Good going.

you are a hypochondriac and yes it is in your head
a lot of those fatal illnesses are beyond your control: just lead a healthy life, enjoy it and u decrease ur chances of contracting such a disease. so stop worrying so much. live now, while u dont have one

yes it is you probably are just a big health freak or worry too much. little things like that everyone knows its not a big deal so it is in your head. you just overworry a little.

yes your friends are right, you just have to calm your self down and not to freak out. if you want you can go to a therapist to help you out to clear your fear of being ill.
