This little popularity contest called "Who's Now" that ESSN is hosting is ridiculous. They are trying to turn the sports world into Access Hollywood. Maybe Pat O'Brien will take over Stuart Scott's job.
I just saw Arod get voted over Peyton Manning, are you serious? The 3 that voted said that the fact that Manning just won a Championship didn't matter.
Erin Andrews is a hot piece of ***, but thats it. She sets women sportscasters back 30 years when she opens her mouth.
If I wanted to hear people talk about who the coolest athlete was I would go back to high school.
ESPN, please get a grip, don't try to appeal to the stupid American, try to appeal to the Sports fan.
That is all
Thank you.

I agree the "Who's Now" segments were a complete waste of time. Heck the 2 shows that I like to watch Around The Horn and PTI weren't even on this week. I used to watch Sportscenter for scores and highlights now it has turned into the Michael Vick/Barry Bonds biography channel.

ESPN hasn't done much that has been worthwhile lately. The only thing that I don't mind is their sports broadcasts. They might not be the best commentary, but at least there is something to watch the games.
Watching SportsCenter and similar shows like Baseball Tonight are good for a recap, but they favor certain teams above others. You can tell by the length and placement of the highlights. Teams like the Yankees get 2 minutes of coverage a night, even when all they did that day was play a game.
Look at what they're doing on ESPN right now. There's this "Who's Now", "The Bronx is Burning", this new NASCAR special, and other shows. I like to watch "Around the Horn" and "Pardon the Interruption" when I can because they provide some good analysis. However, most of their shows don't have a lot of point.

Braces. Two reasons: A= They didn't work. I still have my slight overbite, and my two front teeth overlap just a teeny, tiny bit. There's no difference in them. B= They ruined my teeth. The brackets around my molars were too little, so they made them weak and easily hurt. I have weak enamel (a genetic trait) and so the glue made scars on all of my teeth. Yeah, biggest waste of money ever.

I agree with everything you said.
The only time I watch ESPN anymore is when I watch the deuce to see Mike & Mike in the morning. I like that show at the crack of dawn. Greenie is dumb but it's entertaining. ESPN as a whole is crap. I do like PTI though.
I stopped relying on ESPN for sports news after they job you on the scores. It takes forever for them to even get to stories. Now I just check online because it's faster and that's a lot more entertaining.

It's a TV show.. there going to try to appeal to the masses. it's not about " pure sports fans" . It's about the cash. Always has been and always will be like it or not man. It's entertaining for people to see two of todays top athletes compared. It's just for fun and people like it .. so chill out man

It makes me want to give up watching sports all together. Very embarrassing to even watch. I guess with 5 Channels of 24 hour programming they have to come up with this crap and also non stop Michael Vick and cheating refs coverage. There is just too much crap on tv these days. that is for sure.

It's only a waste of time if YOU are watching it.
Suggest you do not. Most tvs have an Off button, if not, there's a power cord that can be unplugged.
Me, the only ESPN I watch any more is actual gamecasts. The rest is such drivel.

It's call dead air, so they have to fill it some how. And why not do a interactive piece where the fan votes, they get info about what the fan want and make some $ at it.

It is. They should just have a poll on espn.com of 10 top athletes, and find the results in a day or two. In my opinion, the My Wish series is a better idea.

I think ESPN has become a toilet. They are such sell-outs. I haven't watched it since Michael Irvin said something about Tony Romo.
