That doesn't say much for your feelings for that teacher, does it. She's in fact taking a baby out of the crib at fifteen. My fifteen years old grandson maybe has high ideas like you but in effect, is still in diapers when it comes to a school teacher that's twice his age.
She's looking at a minimum of fifteen years in prison in this State and the loss of her family, her job and her freedom and, for what, some baby faced high schooler that's probably going to loose it in his pants before the act due to inept maturity.
If this is all she's learned in life then the courts are justified in her sentence.

Because, at 15, the kid's not on the same emotional, psychological, or mental level as the teacher. The teacher is taking advantage of the kid to pleasure herself. Further, it's illegal in most states to have sexual relations with anyone under 16 or 18 (depending on the state), and in some jurisdictions, the restriction does not only apply based on age. There are some places where the positions of authority are restricted from relations with someone underneath them, such as a student.

If thats how you feel then how would you feel if and when you have a 15 yo daughter sleeping with the teacher....it's wrong no matter what..the double standards have to stop.
