Some shave for medical reasons like excessive sweating.
Some shave to look & feel clean.
Some shave to eliminate the bad odor. Works most of the time.
Some shave because the opposite/same sex finds it sexy.
Some men are born without armpit hairs.

No, it makes them more manly to have it there and hey most of us ladies like manly men. Guys are supposed to trim it though with some scissors. I have four brothers and they all trim their armpit hair. Yeah I know what you're thinking "how do you know this stuff" ... I have weird brothers.. they tell me weird things.

i find no reason to do that. it serves no purpose to be there so just leave it. it would just be a hassle to keep shaving them. but now that i think about it i do think if the hair is really long and gross it should be trimmed

just two things:
the first is that the word "there" is misspelled. it should read "their". please keep in mind that these words but sound the same but the certainly do have a different meaning.

at least TRIM them. long hairs hanging out is not attractive, but shaving them seems too girly.. i want a manly man but not a gorilla lol

i prefer clean armpits for men and women so if u cant shave it all at least trim it

NO! Don't shave. If it's more than 2 inches trim a bit, but NO SHAVE!!!

Mine is really hairy, so I trim mine back. It makes the antiperspirant stick better to where it does the most good, also.
