he should have also placed the toaster near so she knew he was serious, and meant business, people who think they can cheat and get away with it should all be placed in a room with dr phil and scrutinized dr phil mad style. she should have had the balls to tell him she was done and let him walk away.People have no respect for other people now days and they dont give each other the credit they deserve to be able to make adult decisions and allow each other the freedom to choose conflict over unnecessary situations

Wow! you are surrounded by lethal people in your life! You wife for one, and now your friend! i think he has real anger and separtion issues. Maybe that's why his wife cheated to begin with. He isn't a stable person at all to do something like that. Just try to be there for him. Bowling, pool, guy things to get his mind off of his cheating wife til he dumps her and sees there are far better and prettier fish in the sea.

I would be concerned for the safety of both of them. I know it hurts to be cheated on, but it's not worth going to jail for and having someone's death on your conscience. I would also be seriously questioning if this is a person I would want as a friend in my life.

That is called Criminal Assault, Uttering Threats, Uttering Threats to Kill, and Assault with Intent.

Absolute worst case scenario, he's looking at 10+ years in the Grey-Bar Hotel.

At the very least, he is now no longer the aggrieved party in the upcoming divorce. His wife is.

If you're that p*ssed (as you should be!) you probably ought to get yourself out of the situation ASAP! While he has a right to be angry, threatening to kill someone is too extreme. He needs to get to a counselor and a lawyer too. I understand being hurt, but that is taking it too far.

I'm sure he's pissed but trying to kill her is a WEE bit overboard.. but just in case she should lock the bathroom door, and just look over her shoulder every so often..maybe your friend should just move on.. or cheat back?

People do crazy things when they're betrayed in that way. I'm sure he's cooled down and is normal now. He's still hurt, but he's probably over the part where he wants to smash her face.

I understand his anger, but I was on a jury that convicted a guy of "Terrorist threat" for a very similar event. Either leave and be done or get counseling and go forward.

If my spouse cheated on me that would be the end of the relationship; aggressive action at that point would be showing that I gave a ****.
