This is what is wrong with people, so few people want to get involved with THEIR COUNTRY'S government.
Do you realize that waiting for the '08 election will keep this pair in office until January 2009? How much more damage can be done between now and then?
Daniel**Even if there is not sufficient time for impeachment proceedings, you will at least be sending a message about the level of displeasure in the administration.
You are welcome dumdum.

Ken C**What facts are distorted? You are quick to answer with a blanket statement without verifying your information. Just to let you know, I am extremely well studied in our governmental processes. Processes, that I might add, are there for a reason.
dogsrspcl** I am a Libetarian. Just for the record. I don't recall saying that I wanted Pelosi for President, I just do not want to continue having my intelligence insulted by the Bush administration. I also have this thing where I hate to see criminals walk free.

Open4one**Read the Constitution again.
Article II, Sec. 4 states that:
"The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.".

George W. Bush has conspired to commit the torture of prisoners in violation of the UN Torture Convention and the Geneva Convention, which under Article VI of the Constitution are part of the "supreme Law of the Land";
George W. Bush has acted to strip Americans of their constitutional rights by ordering indefinite detention of citizens, without access to legal counsel, without charge and without opportunity to appear before a civil judicial officer to challenge the detention, based solely on the discretionary designation by the President of a U.S. citizen as an "enemy combatant", all in subversion of law.

This is something the Congress has failed the people with. If the 9/11 report has so many unsatisfactory details and got through don't look for this Congress to do much as they haven't yet.
If this did come up the world would see that the country is at least displeased with the goings on in our representation.

short answer is they gained't. It comes right down to uncomplicated politics. The Democrats, beginning with the recent congress, would have adequate votes to start impeachment complaints against the President and vice chairman. even nevertheless, the Republicans maintain adequate seats interior the Senate to dam the impeachment from being carried out. by using fact the Republicans presently administration basically the Presidency, they gained't supply it up. As such, impeachment hearings would happen, however the President and vice chairman isn't removed from power by potential of potential of impeachment. The Republicans interior the Senate will block any attempt to take action, and the Democrats, whilst having a majority, have not got the large-majority as required interior the form to end the impeachment technique.

I looked at the site you listed out of curiosity. I still don't find a good solid reason to impeach Bush and Cheney. As far as I'm concerned, the authors of that site are doing what just about every other political "outlet" does. The facts are construed and communicated into whatever context fits a particular "agenda" at the time.
Sorry....still too much opinion and not enough facts.

I hate Bush and was willing to impeach Bush LAST YEAR. But now I see that teh Democrats dragged this issue to gain vote, and will not play a part in such politics. I'm sick of the Nixon/Clinton games. I'm not saying they don't deserve it. I'm just far more mad that people who want to play games with the electoral process.

What's wrong isn't the low number of people that want to get involved with our government, it's the high percentage of those who do want to get involved that actually don't know what they are trying to get involved with.
Read the Constitution. There's simply no provision for impeaching anyone, let alone the President, simply because you don't like them, and that's really all you have.

The liberals need to take basic logic courses before making fools of themselves.

Lay off the Parisan websites. Those are for waek minds. Pick up an American Government book and study what it means to impeach.
A bunch of folks who hate him, twisting facts to suit their needs is not grounds.
This kind of talk is what scares me most about the people that actually vote.
No offence intended.
