The Principal, Government College, A.B.C. Sir, With due respect, I submit that I am a hard working student of this worthy college. I secured second position the December Tests. I am working as a president of the Debating Society. Last month, I arranged an Inter- College debate Competition. I remained busy in arranging the competition for ten days and consequently missed my classes. Right after the college event, I had to stay at home for few days to look after my father who suffered from a serious heat stroke. Now, I have to appear in my final exams, but my name has been struck off because of shortage of lectures. Keeping my previous regularity and good academic record, I request you to condone my shortage of attendance in college. I may be allowed to appear in the final exams. I assure you I shall leave no stone unturned to cover my syllabus in time and maintain my distinction. I have talked to the concerned teachers to help me in my studies.
