legal or not, it is not okay, it is selfish and rude.

Does she "not want anymore children" because they are all in the poorhouse?
Exactly how many kids were you planning on having, anyway?
Does Wife Number 1 get to be the "Head Wife"? Or is it constant chaos because the Polygamist told them both they could be the "Head Wife"?
Do you know any women who are tearing down married men's door's to be a second wife?
What if second wife has Ick Disease? Does First Wife still have to do the nasty with him?
I don't know, dear, there are a lot of questions on this issue....

I don't really care if it's legal or not, something being legal doesn't make it right. I say if they're in a marriage together then he should be understanding. I mean, like everyone always says, it's not the male that goes through it all. And it's not the male that has to raise to children. (At least not really). Besides, if the wife just doesn't want to go through birth again, then they can still adopt. And even if they can't, again, it's not the male that goes through it all and he should be understanding and respectful of his wife's needs, wants, and desires. That sort of thing DOES work both way, you know

It is never okay for a man to take a second wife if his first wife doesn't want anymore children. I highly recommend that you read the Bible again to make sure that it is correct.

Of course.
Why should he treat his wife with any respect at all?
I say, spread those finances as thin as possible.
Then maybe there won't be war anymore
Because no one could afford it.

absolutely. Also, if the woman is no longer able to do her duty as a women, she should be taken out to the wilderness and let loose. Sheesh, that's a no-brainer. Why do you always ask such sexist questions?

Why would men want more kids? THey don't take care of them or know anything when the kid cries. And they don't know how to deal with kids.
